Lodging
Latham Springs is a beautiful campground situated on over 200 acres in central Texas. There are 11 bunk houses, a cafeteria, two auditoriums, sparkling chlorine pool, lake front, snack shack, ropes course, and multiple recreation areas including baseball fields, covered basketball courts, and numerous Gaga ball pits.
Lodging is included for 4 nights and each bunk is equipped with a mattress. Each camper must bring their own sleeping bag or bed sheets to fit a twin mattress. Don’t forget your pillow!
Food
Latham Springs has both a full cafeteria for meal service and a snack bar on site. Each day campers will get three hot meals daily prepared by the Latham Springs Staff. Each camper also receives $2 in snack bar credit daily which is typically enough to purchase a snack item and drink or a large slushie. The snack bar is also open for cash sales, but this is optional.
Latham Springs staff take food safety seriously and they are a fully inspected and certified food service facility. Does your camper have food allergies? Do not fear, they have food options available for those with true dietary restrictions or allergies. Make sure to complete the dietary restriction form on the “Forms” page.
Fun
What would camp be if we didn’t keep your kids entertained and having fun! Each day campers will participate in rotations both in the morning and afternoon time. Morning rotations consist of structured rec time, Missions, and Bible Study. Afternoons are more for beating the heat, campers can choose from the ropes course, pool, lake front, Basketball, Gaga ball, and tons of other fun activities.
Each morning and evening we have tabernacle time where the campers all gather together for a time of worship through music and speakers. During morning rotation each group will also spend time learning about both domestic and foreign missions, as well as a smaller bible study time. We work hard each year to choose leaders that know how to speak to pre-teens on their level, break down the Bible in ways that are relevant to them where they are at, and keep them engaged! We provide a handbook and t-shirt for each camper with each years theme.
